Did some booties for the Guardien Pharmacy to send to World Visions .... I enjoy that fact that I can make some good out of my new hobby! Have been thinking about knitting the Salvations Army blankets, but seriously, I think it will take me TOOOOO long

I really like this one as well... it is a wrap with one sleeve!! The pattern is from Paton for its Zhivago yarn, but I prefer wool, so I've used Jo Sharp DK tweed instead. It has a different tension but it's ok for this project!!

This is my wrap. I really really like it and I've used Debbi Bliss Chasmino wool... a very very beautiful yarn... very pricy too! Oh well, it is a treat for myself! the pattern is designed by the ladies at WoolBaa!

Wool wool and more wool

Kind of hoping that I will get some really nice wool for my birthday... didn't really remember it's my b'day until my parents wanted to have dinner with me... Really really thinking of something to do with knitting will be a good present, but I guess, it won't happen... Dream on dream on...

When it opens, I have got about 10 slim slots and 4 fatter slots~! I think it is too big to carry around, so I might make another smaller one! Mind you, I still have quite alot of material left! I just need to time...

Here is the rolled up knitting roll

I like the pockets in the bag!!

Decided to make myself a knitting bag after seeing how much they are at an American ebay site, which I will never be able to afford. So hunted down a knitting bag pattern which the bag expand and double its size if needed. I was lucky the Spotlight was on sale and so got myself some pretty quilting material! However, since the pattern is American, the measurements are all yards; and I did the conversion wrong- now ended up with enought material to make this bag, a knitting needle roll and possiblly still enough to make a less elaborate knitting bag!

My wavy scarf! Knitted with Noro Yarn Silk Garden and with free pattern from Knitty which the ribs are wavy itself! The pattern really show off the Noro Yarn very well
